There is nothing worse than losing track of what you planted in your garden where and when!  The small plastic nursery labels quickly get lost in the mulch.  Popsicle sticks are way too small and get lost also.  And both require you to get on the ground to be able to read them.  Our inexpensive yet high quality Wooden Garden Labels are large enough to not get lost and also allow you to write big so you can read them from a distance.  Use them to label your individual plant varieties by plant or row and be able to read the labels while strolling by.  These work great for containers, too.

Four sizes are available:

• 4 inch Length x 1/8 inch thick x 1/2 – 3/4 inch wide – Use for seed starting and greenhouse flats
• 6 inch Length x 1/8 inch thick x 1/2 – 3/4 inch wide – Use for 3 – 4 inch transplant pots or other small pots
• 10 inch Length x 1/4 inch thick x 1/2 – 3/4 inch wide – Great for medium size plants and pots, marking ends of rows for things like lettuce and carrots, etc.
• 15 inch Length x 1/4 inch thick x 1/2 – 3/4 inch wide – Great for larger plants like tomatoes, peppers, etc.

Just use a Sharpie to write the plant variety, planting date, or other desired information on the labels.  Rough sawn from a variety of reclaimed woods including pine, cedar, maple, cherry, oak, etc.  Treated woods are not used.  Order in bundles of 10, 25, or 100 in either mixed woods or choose all cedar.  We generally use these stakes for a couple of years and then just add them to the compost pile or fire pit as they get used up or wear out.
